Refugee Education in Flanders

Research seminar in the framework of the annual Scribani Network Meeting with lectures by Brigitte Vermeersch (VRT), Rilke Mahieu (CeMIS, University of Antwerp) and Stiene Ravn (University of Antwerp).

This session is devoted to the inclusion of newcomers and refugees in the Flemish educational context. The state of affairs is analysed on the basis of recent research findings combined with testimonies from practice. This may enlighten the learning experiences of all those involved as a case of civic education, the topic of the upcoming SCRIBANI conference of September 2018.
